Estimating Manager

We are seeking an independent and motivated project estimator to LEAD our Estimating team. Kalos Windows and Doors cover the lower and central North Island with a presence in both residential and commercial projects. The purpose of this role is to lead a team of 3-4 estimators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all quotes and tenders are prepared for submission according to timelines
• Seek feedback on quote submissions and provide information to appropriate teams
• Lead and develop estimators in your team
• Coordinate between Sales and Operations teams
• Developing quotes for Commercial and Residential Aluminium Joinery
• Reading building plans and using V6 to create quotes and sales estimates
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and suppliers as necessary.
• Working with the technical team and suppliers to determine the appropriate product selection
• Submit proposals, which are constructed based on a complete understanding of the customer’s needs and requirements, ensuring all work is thoroughly checked and 100% accurate prior to quote submission
