About Kalós Windows & Doors
Kalós is a derivative of the Greek word kallos meaning everything beautiful and good. This is our vision.
We build beautiful aluminium doors and windows of the highest quality; we have put in place the best systems to enable us to manufacture on time and within budget, and our team is focused on delivering outstanding service to our customers.
The Kalós Story
When Stewart and Alison Hanegraaf purchased Kalós (known as Metro Building Services) in 2016 they set out four clear objectives – People, Quality, Systems and Service. They knew that if they achieved all of those, their customers would have a great experience.
Since then, their team has grown from 8 has to nearly 40 staff across two sites in Palmerston North and Levin. The Hanegraaf’s have built a brand-new factory and showroom in The Cutting Way, and they’ve introduced new technology to guide their manufacturing process that transforms aluminium extrusion and double-glazed glass units into build-ready windows and doors. They renamed the business Kalós Windows & Doors in 2021.
